Elements
These tears bear the blessings of each colorful source of life.
This emptiness will be filled with them, too.
This smallness, this lonliness, this restlessness...
All of these can be comforted by
the Wind
the Fire
the Water
the Earth.
Let these tears fall into crystal waters,
where they sink to the bottom and fall into a deep peaceful sleep,
lulled by the song of a seashell-
until this time has passed, and they can rise with new furvor,
and spray through the surface with the sparkling colors of a rainbow.
Let this heart be buried in rich black soil,
soaking in the untouched nutrients,
resting in the groundedness,
waiting in the quiet deepness of a mother's womb-
until it is strong again,
and it pushes back through with it's own strength,
and vines it's way down a new path of excitement,
springing forth bright blossoms in every moment.
Let this mind be swept away in a windstorm,
with eyes closed to the confusion, attuning to the changing currents,
synchronizing with the tiniest movement-
until it becomes a dance, and it rides on silver air,
and feeling it's own confidence and motion,
it dances ahead of the waves in a graceful intuition of the beauty ahead.
Let this soul be wrapped in a cloth, and thrown into a raging fire,
never singed, but only covered in blankets of warmth and caressed by light fingers of flame,
warming it's every cold moment of lonliness and sadness-
until the fire burns down to orange embers, and the night sky grows cool and falls alseep-
and it tiptoes forth from the ashes guided by it's own internal light,
casting a warm glow on all it passes-
and filling from the inside out with sparks of pure joy and passion,
it breaks into a hard run across these seas of distance, across these seas of time...
across, and over, and above.
